This recipe ROCKED! My husband loved it. My kids loved it. I loved it. The leftovers are definitely getting eaten. Definitely two thumbs up!!! We went with the chopped red onion, diced tomatoes and shredded cheese for toppings. The meat was super tender and the flavoring was WONDERFUL. The recipe says you can sub in some additional broth in place of the tequila, but honestly, if you can get the tequila in there... DO IT! It really gave the meat a unique flavor. Really delicious!

Nah, I don't think so at all. I honestly hate tequila. But it really did a lot for the flavoring. I only used a 1/4c of it, too, not a full 1/2c. That was not enough to actually taste it after 6 hours of cooking and soaking with all those other spices and such.
