DS is. Our local Y has a program where all 7th graders in the district get a free membership for a year. We took advantage of that and he's there quite a bit. He was there for Dodgeball last night.

i would be if we had one here. the closest one is a couple towns away..about 30-45 mins.

I love my Y! It's a great place to workout and I can go to any Y anywhere in the country. It's definitely more expensive than some of the other gyms in the area, but to have year round access to a pool is an amazing feature worth the extra money. Plus, ALL the classes are free and the gym daycare is free for 2 hours a day (up to 10 hours a week).
