Family fun "night sticks"

I ran across these on Pinterest. I think it's a cool idea!

Step 1 Cut 2½"x8½" strips from letter-sized colored construction paper using your paper cutter. You will use one colored strip per craft stick.

Step 2 Using your scissors, cut slits in each paper strip spaced about ½" apart and about 2" down along the longer side of your paper strip. Make sure not to cut all the way through to the end of the paper. This will create a “fringe” effect on your paper strip.

Step 3 Wrap each fringed paper strip (uncut side around the stick) around one end of a large colored craft stick and secure with Elmer's® decorative tape.

Step 4 Now have fun writing different fun activities on each stick that the whole family can do. Place them into a small bucket or vase (stick end down), and when you are ready to pick your “family fun” activity for the night, have one family member randomly choose a stick.
