Not until 9 or 10! My mom was scared of water and didn't have her license so going to the nearest lake was a very rare occasion.

Around 5 or 6?
My boys learned at 2 with DH and I teaching them...but they take swim lessons as well.

I started lessons at 6 months!! I went on to be a varsity swimmer, lifeguard and taught swimming lessons.

I still cant swim. I got drug out in the deep water as a child by rip currents and have been afraid of water ever since.

5 or 6 I think and I took swimming lessons.
