My daughter is 11-years old . . . we've been considering making tie-dye shirts.

Have you ever made one?  Any tips?

Yes we did, and it was very easy, but messy. Y
The kids loved it.

I just did this weekend...with 6 girls in age from 2 to 9.... I got the kits that come with the squirt bottles instead of doing it with buckets.

it wasnt too bad honestly. I had the girls all do the same swirl pattern with the shirt so I could have them all ready to go. I chose 3 colors... put the shirts on a paper plate and let them squirt the ink on... then I put each one in a bag & let it sit over night...rinsed them all and hung to dry!

I haven't but my kids have. I actually just washed the ones they made at camp. I've always wanted to do it. I've watched them being made, it doesn't look too hard.

Sounds pretty simple.  We'll have to give it a shot!
