My daughter Anya cries if i set her down, if i wanna sleep, i havé to sleep with her in m'y Arms, wich only gets me a half hour or so, i really dont know why. If i féed her she goes to sleep, i try to lay her down without waking her up, but soon, i Hear her crying. Does she just wanna be held or something? Im tired! I am barrley getting any sleep, wich mâkes me cranky, and not in any mood to care for a baby, any ideas on how tto get her to calm down?

I don't have an answer but am bumping in hopes of someone else jumping in... I have a baby boy to match your girl. He won't stop crying unless he's eating or sleeping.

how old is your lo? Mine likes to be held, but once she's in her deep sleep she's ok to be put down. Have you tried swaddling her? I do that sometimes. Or warm up a towel in the dryer, roll it up and put it under her but coming up around her body (like a u shape). Get a bear that makes heart beat sounds and wrap a shirt you've worn and put it near them. Makes them think your holding them. You know she's in a deep sleep when she goes "limp". If you pick up her arm and it just drops. Good luck momma

I'm having the same problem with my two week old. She doesn't seem to like lying flat on her back either so sometimes we put her in her car seat in the living room during the day. Her pediatrician suggested that since she's not too fond of her swing. But I may try the hot towel or tshirt too. This sleep deprivation is getting to me.

Try sleeping with a blanket for a few nights and then swaddle your baby in it at bedtime while feeding her/him. It is a sensory item for your baby.

I am a daycare provider caring for an 8 week old who does the same thing and I'm about out of options. he does not like to be wrapped up or hot so I keep the ceiling fans on, along with the a/c of course. From what I understand, the parents held him all the time during the day but as a provider, I just can't do that because there are other children that need attention and love too. Does anyone think he is too young to just let him cry it out? I've tried putting him in his swing and letting him fuss about it and usually he will fall asleep but not for long. and if I lay him in the bassinet, he immediately starts screaming. Any ideas?
