What's a cool way to encourage your child to brush for a full 2-3 minutes?

Have them sing the ABC's or Birthday song 2 times.

My son has a spin brush. He loves using it.

I'm curious as to how others get their kids to brush that long. Will be checking back.

I use an oral B electric brush that has a 2 minute timer, and she loves to brush her teeth with me in the morning, so she brushes for as long as I do.

When Alyssa was small, we had toothbrushing races; the one who brushed the longest, won.

Actually, she still sings the ABC song twice

Kitchen timers worked for us.  Let the kids pick one out that they like and then they more likely to use it

Some vendor put out this cute little 2 minute timer and gave them away free. Can't remember who it was. But there ARE special "teeth brushing" timers that one can purchase

We have a little song that I sing while DD brushes her teeth. She's not done until the song is over.

We have the Oral-B toothbrushes with the built in timers... but the boys just seem to ignore them...

Hmmmmm  I betcha if there was a toothbrushing APP.... THEN we might have a solution!!!!
