Appreciate the value of play: it is a child's work. Play is critical to all aspects of a child's development, but is often overlooked as a valuable tool. Play can prevent discipline problems, offers a natural way for children to learn, and is essential in the formation of a positive relationship between parent and child. How often do you let your kids play?
My DD plays all the time! DH and I encourage her to play often.
They play inside a lot, espically right now. My oldest is 4 and we live in an apartment so they only get out when someone takes them out. I try to go out before my youngests nap time and we go for walk and DS will ride his bike and then we come in have lunch and DD will go down for a nap then I have to get ready for work. On my days off, I do a lot of cleaning and I try to take breaks so that they can go out but sometimes I am on a roll I know if I stop then I wont pick it back up again.
They play all the time. They play at school, then they play at home. They play sports.
Quoting Mrs.Miller11:ummm...all the time? Maybe its just me, but this is just weird to me. Like, who doesnt let their kids play?
