What is the one most important thing you have learned as a mother?
What's fair to one might not be fair to the other.
They don't always need the same things at the same time. I was bad for this. If one child needed something, I'd buy it for the other child too whether they needed it or not because I thought it was "fair". I had to learn that just because my daughter needs a new pair of shoes, doesn't mean my son does. Things like that.
