Anybody planting their gardens this week?
What are you planting? From seeds or do you buy plants?
Do your kids help?
We went pretty low key this year. I'm just doing sage to use on our holiday turkeys in the fall, and basil so that I can make homemade pesto. I had planned to grow all the herbs for italian seasoning and give that out at Christmas but I think it's too much garden for me to manage right now. The basil and sage will be enough for now :)
I wish we were. I know nothing about gardens but last year my grandma and aunt planted one. Nothing grew.
They didn't even attempt it this year.
I should confess that my "garden" is actually some containers on my patio :) DH made me a garden, bricked it off and everything, but I hate turning it over every year LOL So container gardening with plants from the Home Depot it is!!

We've had ours planted for about a month now. A lot of tomatos, and peas this year. My daughter planted most of the seeds
We did a garden last year (or maybe it was the year before) and we didn't get much from it. I think I may do some potted tomatoes this year. I'm not sure if we'll try anything else. I'd like to try a few things in buckets/pots, but I'm not sure what would give us a bit of stuff in that small of an area.
