Have your kids broken or fractured a bone? If so, how?

Have your kids had any broken or fractured bones?

One of my sons broke his foot when he was 5 and riding his bike without shoes.

One of my sons fractured his collar bone when he was 3 and fell off the couch.

That's it!

None of my kids have ever broken any bones.  The only broken bones I've had are a toe and a pinky finger.

When Gracie was 6, five of the kids in the neighborhood made a skateboard "train" with two skateboards bungee-corded together.  I came out of the house just as the "train" was rolling down the hill, all 5 kids sitting on it, smallest to largest.  When (not if, WHEN) it crashed, Gracie and the other 2 in front rolled off, and the back part of the train & 2 remaining kids kept rolling - right over her foot.  Eeeeyuck - crush injury!  She was supposed to stay off it for a week, but by day 2, she was hopping around like a confined puppy, so I let her go back to summer camp.  She hasn't done anything that dangerous since!

My son broke his collarbone 2 years ago while cutting cartwheels in the outfield during his softball game.
