My 2 year old had her doctors appt last week and the doctor (a new one we have not ever seen before) made the comment that I was to brush her teeth until she could write in cursive. Now, I know that we have ha the teeth brushing conversation before but I am just wondering if anyone else has heard that. She said it is because until then they don't have the dexterity to properly brush their teeth. So...ever heard of this?

Unfortunnately, they don't teach cursive anymore here. I guess it will be a long time before I can quit. lol

I heard they don't here either-my kids are only 4 and 1 so I don't know for sure yet. I still brush their teeth and will continue to until I know they're doing a good job on their own.
