What are your thoughts on year round school years?

 As long as they have regular breaks (like a week off in summer, spring break in spring, and christmas break) then I dont really see a problem in it.

I love it. We homeschool, and we don't have school on a birthday or holiday, and when dh has time off work. He gets five weeks scattered throughout the year, but other than that, it's school time!

 I think you would have a hard time convincing the staff to go that way...lol

Nope I think our children are being burnt out, when I see my children with 2 to 3 hours of homework everyday it makes me ill, they need to be young because they are growing up to fast at it is.

Yes they would, even know the theatchers get paid all year around, teachers need the summers to brush up on the new ways!

I'm pretty sure they get the same amount of time off just in different chunks.
