I understand what this is, but our state doesn't do it. Up until last week I never knew it existed.

I'm in PA. We don't have tax free weekends but there is no tax on clothing so we get a break there.

Many of our MD neighbors visit us :) I think they have bus trips to our outlets in Gettysburg every year near back to school time.

 so far we dont get it this year either. sigh

 

Georgia's tax free week used to be an annual event. However, legislators have not passed the bills necessary to reinstate the sales tax holiday since 2009. If the policy does in fact change for 2011, this page will be updated to reflect that information.
