Educational Toys for Christmas

Posted by   + Show Post
Does anyone have any recommendations for educational toys for the ages 1 through 4? I have twin one year olds and a 3.5 yr old.

Or suggestions for any age. Maybe some other mommas need ideas also. :-)

Thanks.

DS just turned 3 and he is getting a Super Why Zapper ! It helps them read and identify certain things grammar related. :)

I'm an Usborne Books consultant. Lots of great books and educational activities to do. Let me know if you want any info.

My DS is older--he'll be 8 in December (*sniff*). For the last few years we've gotten him science kits, math games, and such.

But for both kids, we always look for educational things--anything that makes them think, including puzzles and artistic/creative things.

I like "Toys to Grow On" and... oh, shoot, there's another company I always order from and the name is escaping me at the moment.

We always like LeapFrog too.  Melissa and Doug also has great puzzles, shape sorters, etc.

My kids really love their Alphie toy.  I would recommend that.  I also recommend the Leap Frog toys... there is a Scribble and Write one that helped with learning to write letters.
