Do you ever take your kids out of school for vacations?

Or do you take vacations while they are on breaks?

I've never had to deal with it yet. I feel like we'd try to schedule vacations around the kids school schedule

As a kid, we were pulled out of school to go to our lake house a few Fridays after lunch.

My oldest only missed one day of k. We were going out of town and needed that extra day.

we have not pulled her out for a vacation yet, and will continue to plan around school breaks. But I am not against pulling her out for a trip if it is something that is really educational as well as fun!

I think I took my oldest out of school for 2 vacations during his childhood.  Both were trips to Florida.

I have not taken my other son out of school yet.  These days, we take our family vacation at our vacation home during the summer.

So far we haven't, but I would take her out for a day or two if we wanted to travel.

 While they're on break..I think it's much more important for them to be in school.

ususally it has been when hes on a break. but we havent had a real vacation like that for a while.

We usually pull them out, but we haven't had to do it too many times.
