...how much would you say your child(ren) like school with 1 being "hates it" and 10 being "loves it?"

7 on the verge of 8. LOL!
My son's school is great. He is in a collaborative class based on his needs. He is by far one of the smartest kids in the class ( benchmarks for his class were a 3 for reading/language development and a 3 for math/logic.. he scored a 12 for reading language and an 8 for math/logic) , but he suffers with high anxiety and a need to control, due to his Asbergers and SPD.
He has some difficulty following the "rules" and ebb and flow of the school day (which makes me give it a 7/8) and I KNOW he would LOVE the comfort of his own home 24/7. But, that just wouldnt be "good" for him.
Since he gets ON the bus... I know it is tolerable for him...and stretchs him out of his comfort zone while still providing him with support for the times he needs it.
I'd say they're both finally at about an 8-9, which I consider pretty good for a 6th and 10th grader! The 10th grader was the tough one, but she's gotten a lot stronger over the past year of homeschooling. She'll be ready to face public school again in the fall, if that's what she chooses to do.
7. DD likes her friends and certain subjects, but she also loves to be home and chill in her PJs.
