Does your child understand recycling?
October 2011 Babies! & Join us in theMom Help: Birth - 3yrs group!
Yes. She's values helping our planet.
You bet! They have since they were little. I've always tried to teach them to Reduce and Reuse first, then Recycle when we've squeezed the life out of something! *gg*
Yep--apparently, she has been learning a lot in school too. She saw me put a bottle in the garbage, and she explained to me that I should recycle it and why. Of course, we have a container for bottles, cans, etc.. I just wasn't thinking.
My 9 year old does but not my 4 and 3 year olds.
absolutely. He is 4 years old and we have been recycling for years. He even knows what the recycle symbol looks like. He looks for it on all our trash before he decides if we should recycle something. We also go out in the desert and pick up trash (cans, bottles brass etc.) It is one of his favorite things to do on a lazy summer day.
