parent - student - staff compact. they are used by a lot of schools to outline expectations and responsibilities in clear, concise language for everyone.

We have a handbook that outlines the rules and expectations.

Yes we have one just like that. Parents, students, teachers and the principal all sign it.

This will be the first year I sign it as a parent. It doesn't bother me, but I can't say it's useful. All the things on it are things I would do anyway. There could be some parents who haven't thought of some of it who find it useful. 

As a teacher I find that most parents don't read it and many do not do the things listed that they sign they will.
