how do you reach child's level ??

 if your child is above grade level do you advance or keep going with same work? i want them to reach top of what they are capable of. what would you do?

It really depends on emotional maturity.

We advanced my youngest son in first grade, and it was the best thing for him. Because he is a natural leader, when he was bored he got into trouble, and others followed. After that, he did end up having issues with being the shortest boy in his class.Other than that every thing was greatly improved. His school did not like to advance, so he had to be tested twice, one year apart.  

Ultimately success/fulfillment depends on effort not "smartness". Either way make certain your child gets enrichment, or he/she could become a bored underachiever that will follow them through life. People enjoy problems of moderate complexity for them. Games are designed with that in mind. Each region of the US has a center that can evaluate objectively.
