See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
So I log onto face fb and what is the 1st thing I see. A status update from my dad stating he's MARRIED!!!!! WTF!!!! I know my cell phone isn't working, but he could have easily send me a message on FB. They went to the JP Friday and did it. I am so hurt right now its not even funny!! I called my sister at work and she said my Dad didn't attempt to call her until Sunday.
So I wake up this morning and see her status. So not only did HER family know about it ahead of time, but her sons, daughter in law, and grandson were all there!!!!
Here is what I wrote to my dad and just sent him
While I am very happy that you found love and someone to share your life with, I have to admit that I am very hurt. I am hurt that I had to find out on facebook in a status about your marriage. I completely understand that you could not get a hold of me because my phone wasn't working, but there were other ways that you could have gotten into contact with me. You could have called Mom to get my number, and even Michael Todd has my number, you could have emailed me, or even sent me a a private message on facebook. I understand that it was a last minute decision to get married due to circumstances, but I am very hurt that you did not let any of your kids know before you did it, yet her sons, daughter in law, and grandson were present. Delana even had a chance to either tell me or ask for a way to get into contact with me, seeing as she made 2 comments on a picture of mine the day after you got married. This isn't something I feel I can talk to you about on the phone, because as everyone knows I tend to get a bit emotional and sometimes can't control my emotions and go a bit overboard, so that is why I wrote this letter to you. Again, I am happy that you found love and happiness, but I think you handled things very poorly when it came to YOUR children.
In no way am I writing this to start a fight or anything, but I really feel like I needed to you know how you made me feel.
