we used this when my son had his tummy tube at night to give him constant feeding  so he wouldnt throw up and keep some nutriction in him  , we put the formula in the hanging bag-- like you would in hospital with whatever drip you needed of meds or hydration-- hes 11 now and for some reason i keep thinking about it , it was 9 years ago.

My friend's daughter has something similar. She wears a backpack and gets constant feeds 22 hours a day! :)

My son has used one since birth and probably will use one for a long time. He is now 7 yrs old. He is missing over 2/3 of his small bowel and can't take large amounts at a time. Right now he only uses his at night and for 3 hrs in the afternoon, otherwise he takes his food by mouth. If he gets sick, we have to use it more throughout the day.
