Uhm, not so good. Learned lots of "cool" new words (NOT!) and had some difficulty distinguishing between aggression and accidental body contact. We pulled him off the school bus and DH takes him back and forth to school (he works nights). We'll try again later....
We dont ride the bus. He has asked me to, but I know that it would not be good for him. Too high stim, and he would make to good of a target. :(
My DD is LOVING riding the bus! But she rides & goes to preschool with other special-needs kids (the public school systems in MI have a county-wide school program for special needs kids, though DD will be one of the kids to attend regular elementary school in a couple years); no neuro-typical kids till she starts kindergarten and goes to "regular" elementary school, so no bullies yet...

Mine is the same, for the first 2 years she went to preschool, i had them put her in a car seat (which is basically shoulder straps and an extra lap belt that attatches to the existing bus seat). She is so tiny I just felt better about having her more secure. This year im letting her read with just the lap belt in the bus, she is still tiny but grown alot since she first started. Her bus is one of the short buses and the drivers take special care of the little ones. She loves riding the bus.
They lost him?! Like the bus driver or school or a little of both?!

Elijah really misses the bus, but I won't let either of them ride since they lost him!
The bus riding has been interesting. The bus driver has finally seen why I told him the first day to have DS sit up front. When DS sits in the back he gets into fights, which I'm pretty sure is cause he's getting picked on.
very good. There are only 7 kids on the bus and the driver and aid are very very nice.
