Hello my ot suggest to buy leg ins those that girls wear,
They have to be a little bit tide, he can wear this under his jeans
And a tide long or short sleeve shirt , like expandex,
This help him feel some presure, or try to borrow a weith best
I tried the best and my son didn't like it so , it may help to try

I would talk to his OT. Outs was able to give us one to try out an then write a letter to get our insurance to pay for it (a SPIO)

Do you have an ot they are who helps us. My son currently wears a mirical belt ( weighted belt). Plus we do brushing therapy. I have also made a few of our own weighted things. Men's tube socks filled with rice & sew up make great lap pads we also took a large stuffed snake removed filling & put in riice. As for compression vests my son wore one last yr but really I found that squisy strong hugs every hour seemed to have the same affect. You could also ask your ot about a sensory diet.

That is what I was going to say and also if he is involved with any agency --I know sometimes the agencies have ones and other items for the child to try (including the weighted blankets)

Mike wears underarmour shirts and he has SMO's (to correct his feet) that work for compression.  A weighted vest was "itchy" and drove him nuts...he was actually clawing at it trying to remove it.

I'm not crazy....I have two boys.....roflmbo....
