Yup. Eat eat eat! LOL =) He is at the 0% in weight and we have just been referred to a nutritionist. In the mean time, she recommends letting him have healthy snacks all throughout the day.
Brady can eat whatever he wants...preferably high fat and high calorie foods as long as he takes his enzymes. Too bad all he eats is mashed bananas and applesauce...that's what he has a g-tube for though!
Well I have a 6week old baby so really all I have to do is nurse him... But now I have to Pump so he can get 1/8 of a teaspoon of salt everyday...
We have no nuts/nut products; limited eggs, peaches, bananas; no chocolate, oatmeal, granola, ice cream... and I have to be dairy free and no tomatos...
I remember those days...I could never nurse Brady...I had to exclusively pump and add formula to it b/c he wouldn't grow. He was born at 37 weeks weighing 5 pounds and he didn't start to gain weight until much later! He was about 13 pounds around the age of 7 months! I finally had to stop pumping and triple the concentration of the formula and then he started to gain weight! It was a struggle!

Nicky has FPIES and severe short bowel syndrome so he gets a special diet. He only eats/drinks Boost KidEssentials, baby food fruits and strawberry yogurt. That is it, that is all his bowel can take. We are hoping to introduce new foods to him soon, but with the fpies we just don't know where to start.
