Welcome to the group. We have not looked into aquatic therapy yet, but my 18 month old has spastic quad cp.

Same diagnosis with my ds as well. He's 13 months 10 months adjusted , not crawling , not sitting , not rolling , and has only just now found his feet and figured out how to suck his fingers , he brings toys to his mouth occasionally. I'm hoping aquatic therapy will help with his tone and to learn to use his arms. He doesn't push up either.

Welcome! My son has CP too. We haven't tried actual aquatic therapy but we do swim a lot and it seems to help with his tightness. Plus he loves the water! :)

It's a muscle relaxer. We are trying it before doing botox injections. Ds's hamstrings and heel cords are extremely tight.

I'm going to have to look into that ! Ds is the same way he keeps his feet pointed and clenched all day so much that I can feel knots in his calf muscles and he screams when he gets cramps.
