Well not all new but there is another one to add to the one we already knew about. All three of my kids have Fragile X Syndrome(FXS). Well there is a clinic down in Miami that specializes in FXS. I finally was able to get Matthew my youngest FXS son (8 yrs) into the clinic. Friday we had the final meeting to discuss the results and talk about a plan. They have officially diagnosed him with autism too. I kind of knew it was there but the last Dr said it wasnt enough to give an official diagnosis. I have a novel of papers to read and then share with the school on Tuesday. At the beginning of the new school yr I am requesting a new IEP meeting to start following the new tips they have given us. This summer I am also going to be working with him and the others with some of the new things. Like picture schedules and things like that. He needs visuals. And it will be good for the other kids too. They were great there and are so very helpful. They said if we need anything to let them know and they will work on helping us get it.
