Ugh, hate this place! I mean, they're good, but I'm sick of the hospital! GI sent us cuz first Ty had bad constipation, then just as they ordered us to give enemas he pooped and then it was all out bloody, mucusy, diarrhea. I mean EVERYWHERE!!!!! We went to a restaurant (before the diarrhea started, we had no idea it was coming) and he went and it was all over the booth, his back, shirt, pants, legs, feet, and shoes! We had to leave with him in a diaper! So GI isn't sure what's going on. I called them to update them (their request) and they called back a couple hours later and emailed his dr. Then I emailed the dr a pic of his stool and literally 5 minutes after I sent it I had our drs nurse calling me and talking to us and deciding it's ER time.
We just got released last Wednesday for neuro issues =/

Thanks gals, you will NOT believe what has happened. Long story short: ER decides to play stupid, doesn't look at our GI's orders or contact her and try GUESSING what's wrong! They tried getting him to eat food and send him home!!!! We called our GI (while in the ER, mind you!) and our nurse says she called the er and spoke to the charge nurse, called the on call gi, spoke to our GI, and faxed all the orders (which we saw when we got here!) to the ER!! Everyone but our nurse, np, and dr in the ER know what's going on! The np finally calls our dr (2hrs later and no they are NOT busy in the slightest!) and comes in all surprised our dr wants tests ordered!!!
And we're going home. Xray looks better than 1.5 weeks ago, still stool in him but less. All I know is I want out before murders are committed!

Yup, exactly! Thats why our dr's always go the extra mike to make sure the ER is prepared and waiting for us and KNOWS what's going on but they all have big heads thinking *they* know best but they don't know crap! I refuse to go anymore without knowing exactly what tests and everything the dr wants. That way they "have it on paper" and I will tell them too so they have no excuse when they say they had no idea. They just don't want to do their job!
