I'm pregnant 17 weeks almost with a baby girl. My son was born at 24 weeks having significant special needs due to his premature birth. I'm single and don't have help and today at the dr they told me my cervix is shortening and I'm supposed to not lift my son and be on bedrest. I also have a 9 year old. Please pray for my cervix and my baby to stay inside of me. Please let me know. I'm really worried.

Thanks! I forgot to mention my son is 11 and 80lbs almost. Which is why lifting is so hard. And were about to get a heat wave and my compressor for our central air broke and my apt manager said 3-4 weeks before the part comes in :( and having issues with his chair that the guy ordered the wrong size dealing with that. And was sent the wrong shipment of his diapers. Why when it rains does it have to pour?! Does this happen to anyone else?

Hang in there! I know it does seem that sometimes everything goes wrong all at once. I've been there with that. Could they maybe do the stitches for incompetent cervix? Try your best to stay on bedrest and follow the recommendations. I know it's hard and you have a long way to go still. I will say a pray for you.
