We love our childrens!! My son has aged out of the Cerebral Palsy Clinic but we loved his rehab doctor--he just started seeing another adult rehab doctor and love her!! We still go for Dental--and absolutely love them!! We have one hygeniest who has had him numerous times throughout the years and she is absolutely wonderful-Amy is her name!! He can go to Dental till 21-he is 19-- We like the GI clinic through the Childrens Hospital too and first diagnosed my son with his condition at age 12 1/2 yrs (we adopted at age 12 yrs) We still go there too-it is up to the GI doc if they want to keep kids past 18 and he did!!--so happy for that!!! One less doctor/specialist to find!!
My son's care is at a general hospital with children's speciality clinics, and the care has been awesome! He has been to a children's hospital for genetics and urology though...great experience and wonderful care!
While they saved Jacob's life, and not all the drs and nurses are awful, it seems we always have one bad experience everytime we go.
my youngest see a urine Dr. at children's. and my oldest is going for genetic testing and sept. Both are going to child delvement appointments and Oct.
I had good experience so far.
my ds was first air lifted to childrens legacy at 7days old and by the time we got there all th epaper work was through and there was no wait on anything, the doctors were already in the ER. they started stats, and did a spinal and he was admitted as soon as they walked off with the tests. they were great through everything, they even gave him a blanket and the nurses decorated his room.
his team was transferd to childrens med dallas and they are great. referals are quick and everything goes pretty smooth.
the only down side is that its almost an hour away and were there at least twice a month :/
