As yaw know conner is deaf and the mri showed no hearing nerves present. Also that his white matter or myelin is very low. Since they told me i been freaking out of course cause it affects his development. He is delayed. He is also 9months and below the 5th percentile for everything. He is on alimentium formula and baby foods. He is a picky eater so its a good day when he eats allot. I was wondering if i should be giving him anything more or a supplement. The drs seem to not be concerned with it and the nuerologist says to wait for the results. Im sorry but i cant help but want to help him in any way i can we already got therapies set up and been going to. Sorry so long

Christopher is on a high calorie diet. He went to a feeding clinic over tge summer for evaluation. It was the best decision ever. For the first time we had an entire team communicating and finding the best nutrition plan for him. Before it was a lot of suggestions that did not help.

Is he in feeding therapy (speech therapy?) or early intervention? Is he just constitutionally small or does he look emaciated? I think they worry more about if he is growing on his own curve. If he falls off his own growth curve, that's when it is time to worry.

To answer your question about diet... My peanut was on elecare for a long time, and feeding therapy helped him quite a bit.

Smart Balance makes a milk with Omega 3 fish oil in it. Just a tip bc Fishoil can be a difficult thing to get a kid to take.

see i want to put him on fish oil or something like that but being 9months i dont know were to start and which is the best kind. Why not cows milk? conner cant take reg formula i think he has a allergy to it but dr says to wait and see. I just feel he eats allot but dont gain weight

Quoting chi_moma:

I give mine omega3 supplements and upped their fish intake. Oldest is autistic and my 2nd baby has severe developmental delays.

Neither drink cow milk.

On occasion I try a gluten free diet to compare moods with my oldest
