Hi, I know I dont write much in this group. I spend most my time in the autism group. Our 4year old has autism. But my other problem. He is getting heavy for me to pick him up. Any ideas on work out that I can do at home to get stronger. He has hsp so he can't really stand and he can't walk. I pick him up so I can put in bath, pick up to put in van. Pulling up his pants if he laying down he just wants to crawl off. He don't like clothes. When he is upset he needs me to hold him in rocking chair. I would love to join the YMCA but we don't have the cash for that. Also any tips on losing baby weight. Our other son is 1and I still get asked am I pregnant again. No ! I try to go walking everyday but then my legs hurt and sometimes so bad I don't want to walk. I have mild cp. people say they don't notice but no one watches how I walk. It would just help to get my mother off my back. Cause she let's me know I'm fat. Im 30years old and 136,2. I have no clue what I should be at ? Also I'm on the Mirana so I'm not sure if that why I can't loss weight ? I have a wii system so I workout to that game by running and push ups.

First of all big hugs!! It sounds like you're a great mom. Don't listen to people who are negative.

I have Just Dance for the Wii and that makes you break a real sweat everytime! Lol I have also done a Zumba class for about $5 at the community center. That is a really good workout and not expensive. Maybe if you have a stroller (or you can go after your kiddo is asleep) you can take walks. If you need a break take a walk or run before he wakes up every morning.

I have a scholarship membership at the ymca for me aand my kids. You could ask for a scholarship application and apply. They base it on your income and bills so you pay on a sliding scale fee. My son is 11 and needs me to.lift him in and out of my suv and bath and lifting legs to.dress and diaper as well. I would recommend seeing a chiropractor regularly bc I waited and it would have helped I think to start when he was younger. As far as your weight, it really depends on your height to see if you are in a safe range. You could look up a body mass index chart or google is my weight safe for height. People can be rude. I'm pregnant now 29 weeks and gained 35 lbs so far! I'm gussing ill look pregnant a while after too. I used a noom fitness app to get in shape before. Also runkeeper app you can track your activity. It will calculate steps, miles calories. If your 4 year old will fit in a double stroller you could maybe invest in a double jogging stroller for walking. I didn't jogg but used for walking and it was easier to push. The one thing I can say is to just keep doing your sons cares and you will get stronger as he gets bigger. Everyone always has said " what are you going to do? pretty soon you won't be able to.lift him!" its so annoying. He is 80 something lbs and I don't have a problem. I'm not supposed to lift bc my pregnancy but I live alone so have no other option a lot. And at 7 months pregnant I can lift him into my suv without problems so just stay positive! Don't let negative people get you down.

Welcome to the group!  Sounds like you're at a healthy weight to me, depending on your height.  Don't listen to others...do what makes you comfortable and feel good!  You have a lot on your plate mama...hugs!

Hugs mama like Darby said-agree and also I walk around my neighborhood, do small weights, and stretch

My son needs physical care and he is 150 lbs and bigger than me and so I actually have help in the home but still I also assist so I try to do this-emphasis try-to walk and stretch-I don't do the weights as much as I should-

Thank you for all of the advice. I think I will get that just dance for the wii. In a few weeks for my birthday. I love walking in the fall. But I don't like winter so I won't be out walking. I don't mind the cold but my lungs don't like it. I kind of have asthma. If my allergy are bad and in the winter. I get a lot of problems.

I would have to agree with this completely.
