Hi,

I have a 6yr old boy who has epilepsy along with, developmental, speech and many other delays.Along with all that we have alot of behavioral issues. We are in the process of adding another med for his seizures to hopefully get him off the one he has been on which is more then likely not helping with his delays. Anyone else out there going through the same thing?

Welcome to the group!  My ds has developmental delays (19 yrs old on a toddler/pre-school level)  and use to have a lot of behavioral issues (doing real well with behavioral issues)  he had febrile seizures as a young child but no seizures since- I myself have epilepsy.  I am on phenobarbital and gabapentin (generic for neurontin) for my seizures.  I am to slowly weaning off phenobarbital-that is a drug that takes a long long time to wean off on--
