Also where do you go to get services like this? A dr or therapist?

I would start by asking your ped for referrals.

Yeah, ask your pedi. He can refer you and point you in the right direction.

It could be a team? We work with a behavorial therapist. But they also have providers that can prescribe medication.

We took our boys to a behaviour specialist. for about a year dealing with behaviors. Sounds like it would probably be similar. She was really great up until my son got diagnosed with Reactive Attachement Disorder (aka RAD) she didn't agree there was such a thing and that it was made up. So we ended up not going to her and found a better therapist who specialized in RAD and she is wonderful and my boys can't manipulater her at all. Hope this helps. I don't know what your situation is, but go with your mommy gut. If whoever you see you have not a good feeling maybe you can find someone else :-) Hope it goes smoothly for you
