 No. But in my case my sn is my granddaughter I rasie. All my kids are typical.

My dd was born 11 months after ds. I think I got more grief for them being so close in age than Ds's disabilties.  Also we did not know the full scope of ds's disabilies until he was almost 1 since we were told many of his issues would go away (they didn't by and large).

Yep. We have had two more since Elijah… Of course, technically they're only half of brothers.

To me I don't think it matters :). I think what people don't get, is life is normal for us, we don't know any other way. My family accepts us ttc. A year before we made a final decision, we talked to her doctors, her genetisists (sp lol?). He said the chances of this happen again isn't likely at all. We have been struggling to conceive another (I think it mostly has to do with the depo, my periods have been out of whack.) I'd love to give her a sibling. She gets so happy to be around other kids. I think I'm just having a down day.

My first one started showing signs of ASD and SPD when I was a couple months pregnant with #2. Heh.

No, but that was because he was our third child and at 36 and 38, we had already decided he would be our last.
