My name is Lisa I am the mother of three children . My youngest son has Autism. I hope to meet other moms and share information but mostly joys and heartbreaks of loving a child with special needs.

Welcome. My daughter has high functioning autism. She lost her speech/babbling at about 10 months or so when she started to walk. She was an early walker. She spoke her first 3 word sentece this summer. She is 4.

Hi Lisa. I'm new to the site, but not new to autism. My son was diagnosed about 15 years ago. (he's 18 now) He is a grat kid, he's high functioning and will graduate this spring, he got voted Friendliest out of his senior class. It's not always easy, but it is so worth it. Looking forward to getting to know you.
