Jeremiah woke up with a 103 temp and a cough so I made him an appointment with the dr to test for flu. When they took his temp there he had jumped to 105.4! I about had a heart attack. They gave him Tylenol and I kept a cool washcloth on his face. By the time we left he was down to 101.7. Soo relieved.

And yes, he did test positive for flu. Dr put all 3 kids in tamiflu

**jeremiah is flat out miserable. Please keep him in your prayers tonight. His temp stayed down for a few hours but came back with a vengeance. He was 103 an hour ago and that was 2 hours after I gave him his Tylenol with codeine. And I can only give that every 6 hours so I'm going to start Motrin too. My fil just came back from town with some for me. He's kind of asleep now but wakes up every few minutes crying and moaning :(. My heart just breaks for my baby. Please be praying for him and for the rest if us, that we won't get it too!

I hope he feels better soon! I had the flu earlier this year, and it was not fun at all. I was on antibiotics pretty fast within a few days of getting it.

That is scary! It happened like that with my middle son when he was 17 mos and had pneumonia. His temp jumped from 103 to 105.2 in about 15 mins (with Tylenol) and he had a febrile seizure. So scary! Glad you were at the docs at the time. Hugs!

Yes, I was scared of seizures too. He's never had a temp above 103.5. Absolutely terrifying.
