Delayed neuro response? Can anyone help a scared mommy out?
My youngest dd is 8 months old. At this time we have no diagnoses or cause or reason to her issues. Basically at 4 months her ped decided it was time to see what was going on with her hips (she has very high muscle tone and is super stiff), she does not have hip dysplasia which is good but still no answers. Early intervention has came in and is doing developmental and physical therapy with her. They say her whole body is an issues not just her hips. We have gone to a CP specialist, a GI doctor, and are heading to a neurologist in a week. She has greatly improved with therapy, she went from being 2 months delayed to on target on most things. She is able to roll, sit, crawl and pull up now but has a lot of fine and gross motor issues. One thing we noticed yesterday is that her left leg drags and curls under when she pulls up she also works harder an keeps her left hand/arm fisted a lot too. She did a neuro reflex test and said it is delayed. She can do the things she eventually figures it out it just takes longer and it's harder. Does anyone have any experience with a situation like this or can help me out? This has all been so wild and stressful. Thanks.

That does sound so much like CP. I hope that you get some answers, and are able to help her little body catch-up :-)
I have a son who is delayed processing......but not gross motor. ((HUGS))
The hospital for monitoring since it was a weekend and the cord was around her neck and there was some decreased blood flow

My son has cp from a massive stroke in utero. Your daughter sounds a lot like him but if it's not cp I have no suggestions. I hope you get answers soon!!
Hugs mama! I have no experience with this to be honest...good luck!
