Jaden's teacher advised he needs to learn to use a straw. I want to buy him a sippy with a straw. Any suggestions???? Not sure where to start. Thanks!

The ones that are "spill proof" like platex straw sippies are hard to suck- so if he has a weak suck, I would get those "disposable" plastic cups with hard straws and lids. I got those at a grocer....

A honeybear cup is nice because it can also be squeezed to get the liquid out. You can also adjust the height if the straw and it has a fold down lid, but is otherwise not spill proof, so is easier to suck. You can find it here:

It is the cup they used with my son at the feeding clinic.
. Sorry I can't make the link clicky because I'm on my phone.

Nuby is one of the first ones we bought willy when he first tried a straw. But at that time too at a dollar store here we found straws that were easy for him to suck on and the liquid not go out of it making it easier for him.

Make sure its one that can not be pulled out of the cup.  Otherwise it becomes a toy

My son doesn't drink anything by mouth...but these ladies have great suggestions!  Hugs and good luck!
