Is anyone familiar with this? I live in Kentucky and was trying to do some research to see if it would be worth applying for, for ds (he is developmentally delayed he's at a 6 month level & is 4yrs old), but I'm completely lost trying to figure it out! Any help is very appreciated!

I recommend doing it. If he requires special medical equipment or therapies in which your current medical insurance does not cover or has a high deductible, it is well worth it. It was orginally developed to keep severe medical needs and disabled children at home and in the community instead of being hospitalized. It really can help your finances a lot.

From the info I've found so far it's a Medicaid waiver and will cover therapy, medical equipment, in home care, & home adaptions
