Occlusion Therapy

My son was born with cranio, and had surgery at 6 months old to correct it (almost 2 years ago). They had been checking his eyes and kept saying they were fine. No signs of crossing. But now, as he is getting older, he has one eye that has become noticeably weaker. Now it is looking like occlusion therapy will be needed according to family dr. We're just waiting for the appointment with the optholmologist at Sick Kids to make the decision.

Did your child need to do occlusion therapy? How did you deal with the patch? Did your toddler leave the patch on?

My friends little girl (just turned 3) wore one for about 6 mos and it went pretty well, and made all the difference in her sight in that eye. Good luck!
