Something I never expected is for other moms with typical children to be jealous of me. I had friends say that we celebrate every little thing he does and while they take their children for granted I am happy to just have him in my life. My one said she loves how much patience and love I pour into him. I feel almost lucky sometimes that because Logan has DS at 2 and 1/2 he is still very much a baby. I don't have to push him into growing up too soon.
