no appointments with my daughter as not much is known about her condition. she just goes to her regular yearly appointment for a physical and she sees her dentist every 6 months. other than that, nothing. she has a mild mental retardation due to the fact that the white and gray matters in her brain are mixed up together instead of being in 2 different blocks.

We're talking regular appointments, right? Not just those one time specialist appointments?

D

Geneticist for 1 q21.1 microdeletion

ENT for just hearing now, but have seen her for years

Speech

Allergist

Opthamologist because the deletion can cause cataracts (no problems fortunately)

Craniofacial team annually which is made up of 8 specialists. We go next Wednesday. He has plagiocephaly. Last year he saw a plastic surgeon, a speech therapist, the geneticist who is the one who found the deletion and his heart murmur, a dentist, an orthodontist, a social worker and I can't remember the other two.

I think that's it for him.

LO

ENT for ear infections and hearing problems

Pulmonologist for asthma which he has not been officially diagnosed with, but it says in his records he has it and the pedi said to treat him like an asthmatic kid, in terms of doing breathing treatments before exercise etc.

Geneticist because what D has is hereditary and LO has a 50/50 chance. He didn't want to test him so I went through Simons and had it done today.

And as soon as there are openings, we are adding

Speech

OT for feeding therapy

going crazy
