she has had the catscan and mri done. I have read the mri report and so did her pediatrician and we had the best pediatrician in the country who has now retired because of health issues. even though she is 22 yrs old, she was still allowed to see him because he is the only one she felt comfortable with and had been his patient since she was very little.

I know the frustrations it all involves, so venting is all part of it, no need to say sorry :-).

no problem...thats what they told.me Junior orginally had but well someone doesnt know how to read a mri report right....it clearly says in the mri report there is no sign of it... cause well you have to have the part of the brain it effects there and well Juniors part isnt there... .sorry vented for a min

they can find it on a head u/s and then confirm it with a mri

Quoting luvnature:

I have never heard of that. I will have to check this out. Thank you very much for the tip.

Quoting Willis_Mommie:

hey got a question have they talked to you about perventricular leukomalacua??? cause that sounds almost like it or close to it

Quoting luvnature:

no appointments with my daughter as not much is known about her condition. she just goes to her regular yearly appointment for a physical and she sees her dentist every 6 months. other than that, nothing. she has a mild mental retardation due to the fact that the white and gray matters in her brain are mixed up together instead of being in 2 different blocks.
