Since it's already almost October, are you ready for the holidays coming up?

I haven't thought much about the holidays to be honest...I'm focusing on one week at a time!  LOL!  We don't do Halloween so that's not an issue.  We are having some friends over for Thanksgiving and I think we are going out of town for Christmas.

We try to take it one week at a time too. But we do like to plan ahead for the holidays. As best as possible.

We take things one day at a time. At the moment our priorities are to get all the summer stuff put away for the winter (pool, tent trailer, tents, screen tent and BBQs). Next holiday coming up here is October 14 (thanksgiving), so this coming weekend we are getting our turkey. Halloween is not big for us because my kids are adults and we barely get kids at house. On Nov. 1 is when I start decorating for Christmas. We are only the 4 of us for any holidays since we do not have relatives near us.

I think I would prefer thanksgiving in October. Being at the end of november and turning around for Christmas is stressful.
