Fruit Bowls?

I try to keep fruit for the kids but this time of year, it gets hard because the only fruit that is a reasonable price is apples and oranges.

What kinds of fruit do your children like? What kinds do you keep in your house on a regular basis? What is cheap in your area this time of year?

Katy enjoys the cups of peaches and bananas. Ill take it. It's been close to 4 years since she would touch any fruit.

I don't even look at the price of fruits and veggies.  If it is something my kids will actually eat and is good for them, I figure it is cheaper over all than take out and junk food.  Now the cookies/chip isle, that I will price and be like no, pick a different one.

For fruits we eat a lot of bananas, grapes, apples, clementines, berries, pineapple, raisins, canned pears/peaches/mandarines, and all flavors of applesauce.  Plus my one daughter eats every fruit baby food there is!

Because of her diet I'm supposed to go for fresh as much as possible. So I've been trying to keep strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, banana's. I buy apples and oranges as well for the rest of the family. I guess it would have to be the apples and banana's. Here soon I'll be getting only the frozen fruits.
