Hugging strangers

My eighteen year old ds daughter has started hugging and touching complete strangers  we are not sure how to explain to her that it is not an appropriate thing to do she is non verbal any suggestions would be very welcome

Hugs mama...I'm honestly not sure.  What level does she function on?  What does she understand?

She's nonverbal but does she understand what you're saying to her? I've heard this is pretty common in some ds people. I've know several that are very affectionate with everyone.

i guess i would try to get thru to her hug only people you know and show her yourself how long by hugging her

I have no experience but am curious about ideas as Lina has been very affectionate to me and a few other friends of the family when she hadn't been before. She has become very out going over the last two years.
