I love being in love

It's the best kind of drug

Drunk on the high, leaning on your shoulder

Sweet like wine when it's grows older

When I die, I don't want to go sober.

It is a duet Rod Stewart & Cher.    Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered.

The lyrics are great and funny. I watched the HBO concert that he did singing the American Songbook and the 2 of them had fun with the song. I was listening to the cd in the van and for the last 1.5 days it has been there even after listening to other songs. It is REALLY stuck!

Well, scratch that. It's back. This song has been stuck in my head almost nonstop since my uncle passed away about a month ago. It's Drink a Beer by Luke Bryan. He loved the water and loved his Budweiser!

When I got the news today,
I didn't know what to say,
So I just hung up the phone.
I took a walk to clear my head
And this is where the walking lead..
Can't believe your really gone
I don't feel like going home
So I'm gonna sit right here,
On the edge of this pier
And watch the sunset disappear
And drink a beer.
Funny how the good ones go,
Too soon but the good lord knows
The reasons why, I guess.
It's funny how a greater plan
Is too hard to understand
Right now it don't make sense..
No I can't make it all make sense.
So I'm gonna sit right here,
On the edge of this pier
And watch the sunset disappear
And drink a beer.
So long my friend, until we meet again
Well I'll remember you
And all the times that we used to..
Sit right here, on the edge of this pier
And watch the sunset disappear
And drink a beer
Drink a beer.

I think every song from The Wiggles keeps playing over and over in my head.  My hearing impaired daughter with no communication can not get enough, and while I can get her to do about 4 'signs' consistently she practically knows all the choreography and hand motions for The Wiggles!!  If only they had a teach sign language dvd.

"Let It Go" by Idina Menzel from the Frozen soundtrack. Here is hoping it wins the Academy Award tonight!

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I’m the Queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know

Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door

I don’t care
What they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all

It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I’m free

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see me cry

Here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back,
The past is in the past

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone

Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway
