No, but that's scary. Could it be some form of seizure?

My son (5) has a fever disorder and when his fevers get over 105 he can be like that for a long time. It's kinda funny at this point because he is just so out there but we also know why and how long to expect it. I am sorry that is happening.

Yes.  My son is diagnosed with bipolar and when he is  really unstable (either not on meds, not on the correct ones, or they stop being effective), he can have auditory and visual hallucinations.  They started when he was around 3 years old and they are horrible.  Thankfully, other than one episode at the beginning of the year (he is 12 years old), he hasn't had any hallucinations in a long, long time (probably 5 years).  How long has your son had hallucinations or breaks from reality?  When did they first start?  Has he seen a psychiatrist before this episode?  I wish you luck.  It can be so scary.  I hope you find answers and a way to help him very soon.

How soon will you be seeing the doctor? That would be very concerning to me. You said he had an episode 'again'. How often is it happening? Unless you are seeing the doctor really soon, I'd get an appt now. I don't think it's something to give time to see if it resolved. Hugs! I hope you get this figured out soon.
