In my classroom before I took him to his school. The teachers who have known him since he was a baby made a big fuss over him, and one of my friends who knows everything he's been through starting crying. Aww.
In his classroom. When he got off the bus this evening, he told me "Kindergarten was wonderful!"

Go, Derek! He's growing up so fast! :) I'm glad he loved it. I hope ours does, too. We have another week or so to wait.
